Ihre Aufgaben

Verantwortung für den Betrieb von Applikationen in einer Microservice Landschaft
Optimierung und Weiterentwicklung von Monitoring und Reporting
Automatisieren von betrieblichen Aufgaben
Koordination externer Partner in Betrieb und Umsetzung
Themenführerschaft in einem nach DevOps-Prinzipien organisierten Team: Kubernetes, ScriptedOps, etc.
Intensive Zusammenarbeit mit internen und externen Partnern als Experte für unsere Plattformen (VmWare, OpenStack, Google Cloud Platform)

Ihr Profil

Abgeschlossenes IT-Studium
Mehrjährige Enterprise IT Erfahrung (IT-Infrastruktur Konzepte und Technologien, Software Architekturen)
Ausgeprägtes Interesse an neuen Technologien
Linux Kenntnisse
Scripting Kenntnisse (z.B.: Bash, Python,…)
Programmierkenntnisse von Vorteil (z.B.: Java, Go,...)
Erfahrungen mit Container-Technologien
Versionskontrolle (GIT)
Erfahrung mit IaC/CaC Tools (z.B.: Terraform)
Starke Teamwork- und Kommunikationsfähigkeiten, Flexibilität und schnelle Auffassungsgabe, eigenverantwortliche Arbeitsweise

Das Mindestgehalt für diese Position liegt – abhängig von Qualifikation und Erfahrung – bei € 60.000,-- brutto pro Jahr. Das Jahresgehalt setzt sich zusammen aus 14 Monatsgehältern und einer garantierten Prämie.

What working hours can I expect?

Based on the legal regulations we work 38.5 hours per week. Our working day starts at 8:00 am. However, with the help of our flexitime, you can also start your working day between 7 and 9 am and end your working day earlier or later accordingly. We don't work night shifts and, of course, we enjoy our free time at the weekend. As a full-time employee you are entitled to 5 weeks holiday annually. What's more, the WALTER GROUP gives you the opportunity to work from home as well as 38.5 additional hours of compensatory time-off for the times when you have to work longer.

How can I travel to my workplace?

In addition to public transport, we provide a free shuttle bus service for our Wiener Neudorf employees between Vienna and Wiener Neudorf. The Kufstein site is very central and is perfectly reachable by public transport (bus or train). Those who travel by car can use our free parking spaces (car parks) at both sites.

What do you do for work-life balance and health?

Performance is a very central aspect in the WALTER GROUP. At the same time, balance, health and a family-like working atmosphere are all very important to us.

What is there for lunch?

That depends on whether you work in Kufstein or Wiener Neudorf. If the latter, you can enjoy a low-cost staff restaurant with 5 daily menus to choose from. In Kufstein, you can eat in selected restaurants - financially supported by the WALTER GROUP.
